AAFWA is open to partnership with compassionate and benevolent individuals and organizations to enable us fulfill our objectives.
Many children with asthma have very bright educational prospects and promising future but are more likely to have high rates of school absenteeism that ultimately can affect their performance and advancement in life.
For only 50 USD a month, you can support the treatment of one child with asthma in Gambia, Sierra Leone, Liberia or Guinea Bissau, and make it possible for him/her to attend school regularly.
Schools represent the first setting that a child with asthma can develop and refine his/her asthma self-management skills.
At school, they are expected to recognize and handle worsening asthma, identify the need for medication with proper administration, reduce their exposure to triggers and negotiate complex social situations.
You can give in cash or kind to ensure our Asthma-Friendly School Project becomes a reality. No amount is considered too small.
The AAFWA Resource Centre will make it possible for asthma patients to borrow asthma and allergy related literature.
The Centre will distribute medication and also make available medication devices for asthma patients from poor families and neighbourhoods.
